Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for James Barrett. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
James has been monumental in helping my wife and I gain ground with mental health. I would highly recommend him.
Great therapist. Actively listens, understand both point of views, between session check ins
James has been Great! Non judgmental, while also not blowing smoke. He laid down ground rules in the beginning. As well as what to expect from him on his part. He does great recaps at the end of sessions as well as follow up messages afterwards with homework or just suggestions. My partner and I are happy to have him to help us.
James is a great therapist with an excellent, practical approach. As a couples counselor, he really listens, offers great solutions and takes the time to really understand each of our needs.
So far he has been very understanding and professional. Very welcoming and comforting person. Calm, collected and seems to know what he‘s doing.
Great experience!
James is great. He actually gives us practical advice and exercises that we've been able to make positive changes pretty quickly. 10/10
James is patient and deeply knowledgeable. He helps us look in the mirror with compassion while also making sure we’re accountable for our actions. Highly recommended his skills
James is very kind and good at listening. He provides good insight into methods for us to work on and tackles problems systematically
It was easy to create bond with James. He is considerate, always available and offers support through our tougher issues. We are lucky we found him for couple’s therapy.
10/10 would therapy again.
James makes sure everyone is comfortable and feels heard throughout session. Gives a great outside perspective on issues and suggests alternative ways to solve future issues.
James is an exceptional human being with an incredible ability to listen, reciprocate and refer to conversation with multiple perspectives involved in a pretty darn unbiased way. I have found James to be the best therapist Megan and I have received from Regain by far. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family in a heartbeat.
Organized, kind, and thoughtful approach to our therapy.
James has been extremely helpful and spot on with the root of our disagreements. He is giving us tools to improve our communication dynamics and conflict management. I strongly recommend him - he is extremely professional, calm and respectful. Regain has given us the opportunity to create meaningful conversations.
James has really been great. He’s been able to help me realize my part in the issues with my relationship and my partners part as well. My boyfriend and I have definitely made some progress in just a few sessions and we are excited to continue working with James. He also checks in between sessions and at the end of each session he makes sure he understood and didn’t do anything we didn’t agree with.
He listens very well he’s very patient and he’s very observant and fair
