About me
The specialized experience that I hold is with couples who may have challenges with domestic violence, infidelity, are divorced or their relationship is leading to divorce, and blended families. I have a Master's Degree and I am clinically certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The study of social work received professional status around the 1920's and takes on a holistic approach encompassing a broad view that explores the whole person and the entirety of the relationship. Therefore, my focus is on the makeup of one's life rather than perhaps just searching for a diagnosis. It is important to process what your environment looks like, those changes within it, life patterns, getting in touch with feeling expression, and redefining who you are as an individual but also as a couple. Furthermore, I have a wealth of experience in what life has taught me through times of sorrow, pain, grief and other times so much joy. There are my lived experiences that mesh well with knowledge gained through my years of higher education. We all have different seasons in our life. Throughout life we will need different pieces to create our puzzle. My passion is in supporting others through different parts of their journeys. I am looking forward to supporting you in yours by talking about the challenges, strengths, and holding you responsible for the changes needed.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kalene McSwain-Faulkner. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Kalene has been great to me and my boyfriend. She listens to both of our concerns and helps us through whatever we have going on. Shes great at checking up on us and shows us that she cares.
Awesome
We were about to cancel our membership due to a bad match but decided to try again. Thats when we found Kalene. It feels like the start of a love story because it wasn't until we started seeing her we started seeing progress. She truly does make us feel like we have a safe space and she truly does listen to the both of us. I look forward to meeting with her because I know she really does have our back. She is so professional and she knows what she is talking about!!
Dr Faulkner cares about her couples and wants them to succeed. She is an excellent listener and very relatable.
Kaylene has always been awesome and follows us on our journey no matter where it tends to lead. She's always super compassionate but doesn't let maladaptive aspects slip by without commenting on it.
I love her. Shes great (:
I had put off getting help for years. I wasn’t sure if counseling/therapy was right for me, but it was one of the best decisions I have made thus far. My counselor (Kalene)is a great listener, very understanding, relate-able and often recommends tools relevant to my situation. I highly recommend her and counseling for anyone struggling through life’s difficult stages.
Kalene is amazing! She has truly helped my marriage. She brings fair perspectives & realistic solutions. She’s very responsive, accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. My husband & I consider her family. We look forward to our sessions with her. Thank You Kalene
Great listener, my partner and I connected with her instantly and she has been instrumental in helping us navigate early parenthood. Kalene is wonderful and we are very grateful for her.
Highly recommend!
She takes takes the time to listen and gives honest feedback
She is very easy to talk to. She helps me see things not just from my perspective but from my wife's. How she words ideas helps me think more about a situation.
My counselor is very responsive and does an amazing job.
Kalene is an excellent counsellor, zoned into the problems and started dealing with them.
She know her stuff, you can tell she has experience and offers ways to change things with me and my spouse. She hears both sides and supports both sides. I really enjoy the time we have with her
Kalene is wonderful. She clearly “gets it” and truly cares about her clients.
Kalene is very responsive and it was easy for me to open up to her. She provided useful information for me to utilize outside our sessions.
Ms. Kalene is an was awesome during my therapy. She listened and advised accordingly. I have really grew and although my relationship did not continue she helped me through the most difficult part
Kalene is tentative and kind. She offers and honest perspective on your concerns and guides you through them with care.
She is helpful and caring when she replies but it seems to be hard to get her to reply. I don’t think one reply per day is asking too much. But I do like her other than that and I am committed to her.
Kalene is amazing! She is funny, and easy to talk with. In one session she was able to turn my husband and I’s relationship in the right direction. Highly recommend her!
