About me
Hello! Thank you for sharing about yourself and relationship. Here's a little about me... I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire with more than 10 years of professional work experience as a therapist, educator and coach. My clinical experience has afforded the opportunity to work with many partners and family constellations in several regions of the US. I am adept at helping clients with stress and anxiety, interpersonal interaction challenges, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, along with mood and challenges related to neurodivergence. I work with partners to increase trust, release resentment, improve communication and navigate current challenges with more connection and reduce conflict / avoidance.
I aspire to treat everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion. Foundational to my understanding of people is the belief that we are doing the very best with the resources we have available in any given moment. This belief supports our ability to explore with curiosity rather than shame and ensures empowerment rather than victimization. My approach is Rogerian (person centered) at its foundation with utilization of motivational interviewing, rational-emotive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. We will also identify your personal Resilience practices and support amplification of what is already working to move you and your partner through life's challenges. Our sessions will be tailored to your unique needs and preferences. I look forward to partnering with you in exploration, healing and growth.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & work with you to amplify your power as you move your life in closer proximity to your ideal life and relationship.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kelley Halter. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Kelley is an amazing therapist who has been helping us with relationship and parental issues. She has deep understanding of human emotions and what lies beneath. During our therapy she has helped us navigate our problems using helpful tips, insights, personal very adequate anecdotes, and has lead us to listen and finally hear each other. I especially appreciate her use of humour to discharge even the most tense situations.
We feel very lucky to have Kelley as our therapist and would recommend her 100%!
Kelley is the best therapist I could imagine. She’s kind, considerate, passionate, knowledgeable, flexible, and talks to me like an adult. I had a lot of bad luck with therapists in the past. Thankfully she was able to take me in when I was ready to give up looking for one all together. I know I still have a long road ahead of me, but she has helped me so much so far. I absolutely recommend her! She truly looks out for your best interest in all aspects of your life. Family, friends, marriage, parenting, and personal growth. Thank you Kelley!
Grateful for Kelley
Great therapist
After our first visit with Kelley, both myself and my husband thought she was a great fit for us. We will continue to work with Kelley as long as we need to.
Kelley is incredibly constructive and has navigated our couple sessions with nuance and grace. She helps us focus on moving forward and unpacking our past hurts. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Very professional, understanding, and acting with plenty of grace. She will get to the root of the problem and find a solution that works for everyone
Kelly is excellent! I feel she is very attuned to what it is I am trying to navigate. The questions she ask hell me to dive deeper and better runderatand the problems I am struggling with and to work through them. Everything she says makes sense to me, and the connectio s she makes are flawless. I am so grateful she was selected for me!
