About me

My name is Sandra Webster-Brown. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am a licensed mental health counselor and a doctoral student (PhD in counselor education and supervision) at St. Mary's University. My primary focus is adult male survivors of sexual abuse in committed romantic relationships. Clinically, I inform evidenced based interventions to consider cultural world views of the client. I invite couples to embrace a theory of silence for processing to resolve conflict. As counselor, my role is to facilitate conversation regarding family systems, family of origin issues, cultural influences, and boundaries to effect change. Regardless the reason couples decide to come to counseling: Conflict resolution, co-parenting, intimacy issues, depression, and anxiety, you have taken the first step toward healing your relationship for a better living space. I would like to create the space to assist with your therapy goals for an enlightening experience.
